Dear Scott,

Happy birthday! You are 34 years old, and this is your first birthday as a parent! You are a wonderful daddy, and as much as we may argue about petty things, a great husband. It's great to know Piper has such a laid back, calming influence from your end, to combat my high energy/high-strung influence from my part.

We love you so much!

Piper has 2 new favorite things!

Every time she sees the dog she is beyond excited, huge smile on her face and lots of pterodactyl sounds. She is a maniac in her bouncer, and I adore watching her play in it!

She recently had her first bout of giggles that were instigated by something. And it melted my heart. 

She loves her jumperoo so much that when you try to take her out, she screams BLOODY MURDER. Even if she is exhausted. Then she winds up like this:

 And mommy and daddy crack up so hard that mommy almost pees her pants.

Parenthood = wonderful.
